Description Conduct patient evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, formulating tailored treatment plans Implement physical therapy interventions centered on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function Collaborate harmoniously with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal recovery outcomes Guide patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and essential exercises for home Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with the institution's protocols Engage in multidisciplinary care rounds and case conferences to guarantee synchronized care Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable qualification from an accredited institution Certifications
Active state licensure as a
Physical Therapist CPR certification preferred Specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are advantageous but not essential Skills
Preferred prior experience in a clinical environment Competence in treating patients dealing with intricate medical and mobility challenges Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation software Benefits
