What You'll Be Doing Conduct assessments of patients in either an inpatient or outpatient context and forge tailored treatment protocols Deliver robust physical therapy interventions aimed at mobility enhancement, strength building, balance improvement, and functional optimization Team up with our nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitative experts to maximize patient outcomes Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise routines Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, therapies, and progress in alignment with facility standards and regulatory expectations Engage in multidisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure seamless and integrated patient care Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution Certifications
State licensure as a
Physical Therapist CPR certification is preferred Acquired specialized certifications, such as in neurology or geriatrics, are beneficial but not mandatory Skills
Strong preference for candidates with prior relevant experience Proficient in addressing patients with intricate medical and mobility concerns Exceptional communication and collaborative abilities Comfortable navigating digital charting systems for clinical documentation Benefits
