Job Description
The Scheduler is responsible for the coordination, scheduling and support of daily work and planning of resources specific to the assigned business unit. Duties-
Establish and execute a daily plan for the work; may include organizing and dispatching assignments, facilitating meetings, short-range forecasting, etc. Communicate effectively in line with supported business unit processes/procedures; may include interacting with supervision, field operations, or other operational supporting groups. Utilize various systems to monitor work, create/submit orders, and requests, observe data and make scheduling adjustments as necessary. Some roles may require a deeper dive into data review to make appropriate modifications. Support emergent matters in line with the business units' processes/procedures; may include escalations, volume monitoring, etc. Perform business unit specific tasks as needed; may include various reporting and taking appropriate action. Skills:
Ability to work effectively in urgent situations. Communication skills Skilled in organization and time management Ability to think and work independently. Technical skills to utilize various systems Education:
Associate's degree in Business or related field or/ 2-4 years of experience with scheduling or related work; customer facing; exposure to data and reports. Prefer knowledge of Utility work.
