Description Conduct evaluations for patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings to create tailored treatment plans Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and functionality Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes Educate patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise routines Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards Engage in team care rounds and interdisciplinary discussions to augment coordinated patient care Education

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a similar credential from an accredited program Certifications

State licensure as a

Physical Therapist CPR certification is preferred Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous, though not mandatory Skills

Prior experience in a similar setting is highly desired Competence in treating patients with intricate medical and mobility concerns Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Familiarity with digital charting systems and clinical documentation processes Benefits
