Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. We have a full-time position available for a refrigeration engineer. Responsibilities include:
Conducting job-site surveys Calculating refrigeration requirements for process cooling and building loads Assisting in the development of project documentation such as drawings, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's), equipment schedules, details, specifications, and scope of work Selecting and applying system equipment to new and existing systems Coordinating technical specifications, delivery requirements, and quotation parameters with outside equipment suppliers, subcontractors, and clients Travel may be required Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university At least five years of relevant mechanical experience PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states Preferred experience:
The ideal candidate will have experience with project management, ammonia refrigeration design, chilled water/hydronic design, equipment selection, developing P&IDs, Microsoft Office software, and mentoring less experienced staff. Application process:
