HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with a prominent organization in the semiconductor industry to hire an Facility Technician. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the engineering team by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing fabrication equipment and processes to ensure efficient, high-quality semiconductor manufacturing.
Position : Facility Technician Location : Phoenix, AZ Type : Temp-To-Hire; Full-Time; Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM or 9 AM-6 PM Pay Rate : $23-$25/hr
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on semiconductor fabrication equipment to minimize downtime and maintain performance. Support process optimization by assisting engineers with data collection, analysis, and process improvements. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain accurate documentation of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and process outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to drive continuous improvement and resolve technical challenges. Qualifications
Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred) with 2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a similar environment. Proficiency in semiconductor equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with familiarity in tools such as photolithography, etching, or deposition systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail for effective documentation. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, handle equipment/tools, and adhere to safety protocols. Preferred experience with SPC, failure analysis techniques, and specific semiconductor tools (e.g., ASML, Lam Research).
