Position Description Are you a talented Data Analyst looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and make a real impact? Join our dynamic team and support the implementation of a client-specific business intelligence solution for our Federal client. As a key partner of our BI team, you will collaborate closely with our implementation team and client to ensure customized solutions. This is a high-stakes, mission-critical project where you will work alongside a talented group of individuals, pushing the boundaries of innovation. Alternate locations include Lafayette, LA; Knoxville, TN; Belton, TX; Lebanon, VA. Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder. Your future duties and responsibilities: Evaluate the quality of complex, disparate financial data using SQL and perform data analysis techniques to improve client-reporting capabilities. Understand data needs and construct data pipelines for automating data preparation. Translate functional reporting requirements into technical requirements for a Business Intelligence application. Identify database elements (tables, views, etc.) and business logic to build report design specifications. Create report prototypes through functions, scripts, and stored procedures. Improve and refine SQL queries. Troubleshoot and validate data as required. Support multiple work streams and drive the adoption of new techniques and solutions. Stay passionate about technology trends. Required Qualifications: US Citizen or GC Holder. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or STEM-related discipline, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience with SQL development, including complex queries and data structures. 4+ years of Business Intelligence (BI) experience. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Perl). Experience working in an Agile environment. Knowledge of data warehousing best practices, including ETL/EII, database architecture, and SDLC methodologies. CGI provides a salary range estimate of $55,700 - $137,100 in the U.S., based on various factors.
