Master Production Scheduler

Collins Aerospace is hiring! We are seeking a Master Production Scheduler to support our Oxygen and Life Support Systems teaman area critical to the safety and performance of both military and commercial aviation. This role is essential in driving efficient production planning and execution to ensure life-sustaining systems are delivered on time and with the highest quality standards. The Master Scheduler is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing detailed schedules for manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal resource utilization and timely delivery. This role plays a key part in coordinating cross-functional activities and monitoring performance to drive continuous improvement. This role is eligible for relocation. What You Will Do Schedule Creation and Management:

Develop and maintain production schedules that consider factors such as demand forecasts, resource availability, and capacity constraints. Coordination and Communication:

Collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineering, purchasing, and logistics, to align schedules and ensure smooth workflow. Monitoring and Analysis:

Track schedule performance, identify deviations, and analyze root causes of any issues or delays. Process Improvement:

Suggest and implement improvements to scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity. Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and present reports on schedule performance, identify potential risks, and document all relevant information. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience Experience with master scheduling in SAP Qualifications We Prefer Strong planning and organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and communicate complex information clearly. Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose solutions. Proficiency in scheduling software: Experience with tools like SAP required, APO, and Kinaxis preferred Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing processes: Understanding of the end-to-end production process and relevant constraints. Continuous improvement mindset with exposure to lean manufacturing or CORE methodologies.
