Manager, Supply Chain NPI
The Manager, Supply Chain NPI will oversee a team of NPI Supply Chain professionals in support of the Cabin Integration program. This role will be responsible for sourcing components for the Cabin Integration (CI) business unit while driving supply chain cost optimization initiatives for the CI business located in Everett, Washington. In this position, you will work closely with Commodity, Contracts, and Engineering teams to align business needs with supplier strategies, support negotiations to achieve material cost targets, and contribute to cost improvement projects for the Cabin Integration team. This role is eligible for relocation. What You Will Do Manage a team of NPI buyers by assigning and balancing workloads and ensuring resource availability. Track and report key supply chain metrics, driving accountability toward meeting sourcing and cost improvement goals. Develop and mentor team members to strengthen NPI Supply Chain capabilities. Apply Collins cost improvement tools to achieve optimal total landed cost. Guide the NPI team in implementing Collins Management System practices and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Support CORE and other process improvement projects within the team. Partner with commodity teams to support sourcing strategies and align with program and business objectives. Ensure contracted component goals are achieved. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and 5 years of experience. Ability to travel up to 20%. Qualifications We Prefer Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of leading teams to achieve their goals and objectives. Aerospace industry experience. Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment. Technical sourcing and/or strategic sourcing experience. Experience collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Product Management. CPIM Certification.
