Description Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and develop tailored treatment plans. Deliver physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality. Work alongside an interdisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, and other rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes. Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic aims, discharge procedures, and home exercise regimens. Diligently document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress according to facility and regulatory standards. Engage in care team discussions and multidisciplinary conferences to guarantee seamless patient care. Education
Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or possess an equivalent degree from an accredited institution. Certifications
Current state licensure as a
Physical Therapist Preferred: CPR certification Additional specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory. Skills
Prior experience in the field is highly preferred. Proficient in managing patients with complex medical and mobility challenges. Exceptional communication and teamwork capabilities. Adept at utilizing digital charting tools and clinical documentation systems. Benefits
