Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and develop tailored treatment plans Implement physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities Engage in teamwork with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercises Accurately document patient evaluations, treatments, and progression in line with facility and regulatory requirements Participate in interdisciplinary care rounds and meetings to uphold cohesive patient care Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution Certifications
State licensure as a
Physical Therapist CPR certification preferred Specialty certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory Skills
Experience in the field is highly desired Capability to treat patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges Excellent communication and collaborative skills Proficient in using digital charting and clinical documentation tools Benefits
