Project Manager
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Project Manager for a contract position in St. Paul, MN. The opportunity will be a year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Provide leadership and guidance for projects Provide strategic vision and thinking with a focus on outcomes Create clear and attainable project objectives Create clear and attainable project requirements Manage project constraints of cost, time, and scope Form close links with team members and stakeholders Direct & manage project development from beginning to end Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with project sponsors and stakeholders Estimate project resource requirements and participants needed to achieve goals, including changes during where necessary Identify and manage project dependencies and the critical path Establish project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and tracking such milestones and deliverables Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises or issues, and devise contingency plans as appropriate Communicate project plans, expectations, updates, progress, issues, and successes in a timely & clear fashion when necessary Manage multiple smaller projects Provide knowledge transfer Preferred:
Five (5) years
of experience in an IT Project Management role Two (2)
engagements
lasting more than six months in an IT Project Manager role Demonstrable leadership ability PMP certification
