This is an onsite role, and candidates must be available Monday through Friday.About the Role In this position, you will play a key role in supporting powertrain casting projects, including equipment and die specifications, process parameter development, pre-production preparation, and quality confirmation trials. You will lead project teams, coordinate capital projects, and implement problem-solving countermeasures to ensure production goals are met. Work Location: Jackson, TN (Onsite required) Travel: As needed to support project activities Work Schedule: Monday - FridayWhat You'll Be DoingManage major powertrain projects, including pre-production preparation of aluminum cylinder blocks, hybrid transmission cases, BEV e-Axle cases, and suspension membersDevelop project budgets ($5M-$45M) and manage capital equipment/die procurement and installationPlan and execute casting trials leading to start of production (SOP)Study existing processes and develop NA-specific operation drawings to optimize productionLead problem-solving efforts using standardized methodologiesManage and coordinate project teams, including scheduling, contractor oversight, and consensus-buildingPrepare documentation, cost justification proposals, and present capital projects for approvalWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Electrical) or equivalent experience3+ years production preparation and/or manufacturing experience1+ year experience with major model changes impacting equipment, fixtures, tooling, and part quality1+ year project leadership experience, managing working groups and overall project milestonesBonus Skills (Nice to Have) 3+ years casting or metals-related manufacturing engineering experience High-pressure die casting experience NC machining and Fanuc Robot system integration/troubleshooting experience Toyopuc PLC system integration/troubleshooting experience 2D/3D CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Creo, or similar) Industrial PLC programming and troubleshooting skills Experience leading projects with budgets exceeding $5M Familiarity with JKK and Toyota Business Practices (TBP)Interview Process One-round STAR/Video interview (60 minutes with the hiring manager) If you're looking to contribute to cutting-edge powertrain casting projects in a collaborative, hands-on environment and grow your career with an industry-leading team, apply today!Equal Opportunity Employer CrossSafety is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
