General Statement of Duties

Responsible for answering the Colleges main phone line, directing incoming calls and providing outstanding customer service to students, staff and visitors. Answer general questions and provide administrative support to the Division of Human Resources and Payroll.

Responsibilities Answer the College's main phone line; Transfer calls to the appropriate department or individual; Greet and direct faculty, staff, student and guest to appropriate locations; Provide customer service, information, and assistance to employees, students, visitors and callers; Work and collaborate with other Information Center employees to complete tasks; Maintain an up-to-date college in-house telephone directory; Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping Human Resource information confidential. Filing for Human Resources current and archives files Assist with staff and faculty parking assignments; Special projects as assigned related to Personnel and Payroll; Additional hours and other duties may be required; Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Good computer skills, including knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment; High School Diploma or equivalent; Skills in database management and record keeping with the ability to maintain accurate records; Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills; Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality; Ability to work as a team member and collaborate to complete tasks; Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully; Flexibility to ensure position coverage. Desired Qualifications:

Associate's degree or higher; Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Additional Information:

Salary: $16.00 per hour Employee Status: Part Time Benefits: No Hours per Week: 15-18 hrs

Monday 12:00-5, Thursday 12-5, Friday flexible to accommodate coverage Number of Weeks: 52 Year round position
