Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Criteria for Success Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form with peers & decision makers Demonstrate initiative when faced with limited guidance or ambiguous requirements Expertise in modern web application technologies including TypeScript, React, NodeJS, etc. Experience deploying web applications via containerization Required Experience and Skills Minimum of 10 years of experience in a software-focused engineering career (e.g., Software Engineer, Computer Science) At least 5 years of experience developing web applications with React Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Engineering discipline Proficiency in software configuration management using Git Experience with Container Technologies (Docker, Podman, etc.) Desired Education and Experience Master of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline Background in remote sensing technologies and sensors, especially Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) systems 10 years of experience developing web applications with modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) Experience following GitFlow and GitOps workflows using team repositories (GitHub, GitLab, etc.) Demonstrable excellence in UI/UX design Expertise with Container Technologies (Docker, Podman, etc.) About Awetomaton We build software that enables humans to make informed decisions from raw intel data, specializing in satellite collection.
