Criteria for success Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form with peers & decision makers Demonstrate initiative when faced with limited guidance or ambiguous req uirements Expert in modern web application technologies including TypeScript, React, NodeJS, etc. Experienced deploying web applications via containerization Proficient in building and integrating RESTful APIs and server-side logic Req uired Experience and Skills Five (5) years of minimum experience in a software focused engineering career (Software Engineer, Computer Science, etc.) Two (2) years of minimum experience developing web applications with React Two (2) years of minimum experience with back-end development using Node.js, including frameworks like Express.js or similar Experience with database technologies such as SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Engineering discipline Mastery of software configuration management using Git. Experience with Container Technology (Docker / podman / etc.) Desired Education and Experience Master of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Engineering discipline Ten (10) years of experience developing web applications with modern web app libraries and frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, etc). Experience with React frameworks such as Next.js or React Router Experience with database design, querying, and integration (e.g., ORM tools like Sequelize or Mongoose) Experience following GitFlow and GitOps workflows using team repository (GitHub / Gitlab / etc.) Demonstrable excellence in UI/UX Expertise with Container Technology (Docker / podman / etc.) About Awetomaton We build software that enables humans to make informed decisions from raw intel data, with a specialization in satellite collection.
