Field Service Technician

3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants AABC Testing and Certification is seeking a field service technician to support the growing demand for high quality and reliable certification services, validation services, and specialty testing services in the biotech, research, and medical industry. Job Description Perform certification testing, maintenance, and repair services of various laboratory equipment in conformance with manufacturers specifications, industry standards, and company policies. Responsibilities Maintain compliance with industry regulations and requirements while performing certification testing of laboratory equipment (Biological Safety Cabinets, Laboratory Fume Hoods, Laminar Flow Hoods, Cleanrooms, etc.) Perform basic repair services on laboratory equipment as directed Safely work with chemicals and hazardous materials Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with OSHA standards Adhere to all reporting and documentation requirements Communicate effectively in both oral and written form Requirements Possess basic technical skills Demonstrate ability to use testing equipment Able to use logic and good judgement to problem solve Able to stand for long periods of time Technical/mechanical background or knowledge Laboratory knowledge

preferred but not required Graduation from technical program or equivalent

preferred but not required Frequent travel to customer locations

(valid Massachusetts license required + must be able to pass a background check) Paid major holidays Seniority level
