These services are considered part of the ProSidian Energy, Infrastructure, & Environment Sector Group with overall focuses being Tailored Solutions To Meet Global Needs And Manage Resources across Energy, Infrastructure, & Environment In A Changing Environment. The Department of Energy (DOE) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Project Manager to provide professional management and analytical support for its Loan Programs Office (LPO). The LPOs mission is to accelerate the domestic commercial deployment of innovative and advanced clean energy technologies, contributing to the achievement of national clean energy objectives, such as job creation, reducing dependency on foreign oil, improving the environmental legacy, and enhancing American competitiveness in the global economy. Responsibilities include: providing professional management and analytical support for the planning, administration, management, and operation of DOEs loan programs; supporting the entire life cycle of a loan guarantee; providing technical expertise in specific areas; working with large non-recourse project finance; and collaborating with federal staff at the LPO. Desired qualifications include: a bachelors degree in a relevant field; minimum of 5 years of experience in project management; strong analytical and financial skills; knowledge of DOEs loan programs; excellent communication skills; and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Skills required include: ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail; excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills; and strong communication skills. Competencies required include: U.S. citizenship; excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Products; and other details as outlined.
