Warehouse Associate (Shipper & Receiver)
Position Summary Title: Warehouse Associate (Shipper & Receiver) Status: Part-time Location: Madison, Wisconsin Hours: 8 AM 12 PM, Monday Friday Pay: $18/hr Interview & Hiring Process Opportunity for temp-to-hire. Potential for more hours in the summer if hired permanently. What We're Looking For Experience in operating a manual pallet jack is required. General warehouse experience preferred. Basic computer skills desired (NetSuite experience is a plus). Someone who is open to learning and adapting to new processes. Responsibilities & Duties Handle freight, mainly shipping and receiving. Palletizing and wrapping (shrink/schrap wrap); receiving items. Handle deliveries from UPS and FedEx. Operate manual pallet jack. Heavy lifting required at times. Perform general warehouse tasks as needed. Work Environment & Perks Warehouse can get hot; fans and open doors available. Small, supportive team environment. Break room for lunches. Open, straightforward parking. Badge access for certain doors. Training provided for warehouse software. Requirements & Preferences Manual pallet jack experience required; forklift experience is a plus. General warehouse familiarity. Basic computer experience helpful.
