At Tesla, our Parts Advisors play an important role in service operations, offering support to Technicians and customers in our mission to accelerate the worlds transition to sustainable energy. As a Parts Advisor, you will provide critical parts support, liaise with other departments, and focus on developing your skills. You will help ensure an innovative service experience for customers, supporting the creation of some of the most innovative vehicles. To succeed at Tesla, you must be energetic, highly organized, and hardworking. A passion for the brand and the ability to thrive in a team environment are essential. What You'll Do
Source parts from Distribution Centers and other Service Center locations and allocate them to vehicle service appointments. Monitor inventory, communicate parts updates, and ensure availability. Review upcoming appointments, prepare internal orders, and document in our system. Process warranty part shipments, handle hazardous materials, and manage high-voltage batteries. Receive, inspect, and store stock and special-order parts. Escalate parts issues to the Regional Parts Manager and collaborate with vendors. Transport parts using van or forklift, engaging third parties when necessary. What You'll Bring
Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain strong relationships. Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple priorities. Proficiency in English and MS Office. Valid drivers license and ability to obtain necessary state licensing. Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs., sit, bend, and stand for long periods. Vision abilities to identify parts and safety hazards. Benefits
