Job Responsibilities:- Full-time BC/BE Neonatologist position available.
- Work as part of an 8-physician practice at Wesley Medical Center.
- Participate in a combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule, covering approximately 170 hours per month in-house.
- Provide in-house call and backup call from home.
- Manage and care for patients in a busy NICU, averaging around 1,000 admissions annually.
- Collaborate with residents and nurse practitioners to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Engage in extensive QI and research opportunities, affiliated with KU School of Medicine Wichita.
- Open to new fellowship graduates who are BC in Pediatrics and willing to support J1 & H1B visa candidates.
- Board Certified in Pediatrics is REQUIRED.
- Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship working toward BC) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine is REQUIRED.
- KS license (or willingness to obtain) is REQUIRED.
- Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine is REQUIRED.
- Clean malpractice and license history is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
- DEA must be obtained prior to start is REQUIRED (no exemptions).
- Active Kansas Medical License or willingness to obtain.
- Board Certification in Pediatrics.
- Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- DEA registration prior to starting.
