Description Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients in inpatient or outpatient contexts and develop personalized rehabilitation strategies Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function Work synergistically with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes Guide patients and families in understanding therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and exercises for home Maintain detailed records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with both regulatory and institutional standards Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure seamless, coordinated patient care Education
Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable qualification from an accredited institution Certifications
State licensure as a
DPT Preference for individuals with current CPR certification Possessing specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) is advantageous but not obligatory Skills
Demonstrated experience in a clinical setting is highly favored Aptitude for managing patients with intricate medical conditions and mobility challenges Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team Proficiency with electronic health record systems and clinical documentation Benefits
