Work Order Dispatcher

to support Terrestris Global Solutions' ground operations in Los Alamitos, CA.

** NOTE: This

work is to be conducted on weekends and entails 12-hour shifts. **

So, what will the Work Order Dispatcher at Terrestris

do?

As the Work Order Dispatcher you will be responsible for coordinating and assigning tasks (or work orders) to field workers, technicians, or service teams in various industries-like maintenance, construction, utilities, transportation, or IT services. Work orders will likely include issues with electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing as well as requests for ice, water, vehicle checkouts, etc.

What does a typical day look like for the Work Order

Dispatcher?

You will: Receive work orders: Monitorphone for service request calls from customers, internal departments, orautomated systems. Schedule jobs:Determine when and where tasks need to be done based on priority, workeravailability, and location. Assign work:Send jobs to the appropriate vendors, field personnel, or teams. Track progress:Monitor the status of work orders and ensuring they're completed on time. Communicate with teams:Keep workers informed about job details and handling real-time updates orissues. Update systems:Log work completion, delays, or rescheduling in dispatch or work managementsoftware. Other administrative and generallabor tasks, as required. What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the professional we're looking for if you have:

Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship. A High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong communicationand organizationskills. Demonstrated phone etiquette. Demonstrated effective timemanagement. Familiarity with dispatching software or CMMS(Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Ability to multi-task and solve problems quickly.
