The Building Maintenance position is essential for ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks at a private resort located on the waterfront in Kirkland. Scope of work will include non-licensed electrical, mechanical, and general repairs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate skills to oversee maintenance activities effectively.
Sunday - Thursday 8:00 - 5:00 (Friday & Saturday off)
Duties
Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs, electrical and HVAC systems included. Perform repairs on systems: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other building systems. Interpret schematics and blueprints to guide maintenance work. Maintain accurate records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly. Oversee pressure washing and painting projects to maintain aesthetic standards. Apply mechanical knowledge to resolve complex maintenance issues in a manufacturing environment. Qualifications
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Preferred HVAC or EPA certification. Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairs and installations. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and tenants. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Candidates must pass background check, drug screen - not including THC and driving abstract. Job Type: Full-time
