A reputable healthcare facility in Akron, OH is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join its cardiology department. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with advanced echocardiography equipment in a fast-paced, patient-centered hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures with precision and efficiency
Capture high-quality images and assist in accurate diagnosis of cardiac conditions
Prepare and position patients, and explain procedures clearly and compassionately
Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care
Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, ensuring high operational standards
Document all procedures accurately and adhere to departmental protocols

Required Qualifications
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiac sonography Current BLS certification Excellent imaging technique and patient care skills Strong communication and organizational abilities
