We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to ensure the structural and electrical integrity of metal enclosures and electrical houses. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building codes, metal fabrication process, welding standards, engineering drawings, and manufacturer specifications, and will play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the construction and integration process.

- Must be capable of working 8-10 hours in a manufacturing environment, can stand for long periods. n
- Must have deep knowledge of metal fabrication and welding processes preferably in metal building or enclosure manufacturing. n
- should have Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification and should be familiar with building codes such as UBC, IBC, ASCE, NEC. n
Key Responsibilities:
nStructural Inspection:
n- n
- Perform thorough inspections of metal enclosures to verify compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and applicable building codes (UBC, IBC, ASCE, etc.). n
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections throughout the construction process to ensure structural integrity and alignment with design intent. n
- Apply deep knowledge of metal fabrication and welding processes to assess quality and workmanship. n
- Perform welding inspections in accordance with AWS standards; Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required. n
Electrical Equipment Inspection:

- Inspect installation of electrical equipment inside electrical houses to ensure adherence to manufacturer recommendations. n
- Verify integration of electrical systems per design drawings and manufacturer specifications. n
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

- Take proactive measures based on lessons learned to prevent recurrence of issues that could impact project execution. n
- Identify opportunities for improvement in product design or project execution and communicate findings to the engineering team. n
- Ensure compliance with ABB quality standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes. n
Collaboration & Communication:

- Foster a cooperative and collaborative relationship with other quality team members. n
- Maintain clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and project management. n
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

- Promote and ensure strong HSE practices are followed at the manufacturing site. n
- Participate in safety audits and contribute to a culture of safety and accountability. n
Qualifications :
n- n
- Proven experience in structural and electrical inspection, preferably in metal building or enclosure manufacturing. n
- Deep knowledge of metal fabrication and welding processes is required. n
- Deep knowledge of metal fabrication is essential. n
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required. n
- Familiarity with building codes such as UBC, IBC, ASCE, NEC n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. n
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. n
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. n
