What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Lead project management services for facilities, overseeing major and minor project and alteration services - Develop project scope and schedule, identifying and addressing potential risks - Coordinate and track all Vendor Request For Proposals (RFPs) - Interact and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors - Prepare and update project status reports, process invoices, and maintain project files
What is Required (Qualifications): - Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in Engineering Design or Construction, or equivalent Military experience - Proficiency in reviewing and commenting on Design Intent Drawings and As-Built Drawings - Experience overseeing new construction or renovations of older buildings - Some cost estimating experience, particularly with RS Means format - Understanding of technical requirements for business relocations and construction projects
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management from an accredited institution - LEED, AIA, PE, or PMP certification - Experience in the public utility sector
