Description Conduct thorough assessments for patients spanning the pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups using both standardized tests and keen observational skills. Create individualized treatment plans targeting both immediate objectives and comprehensive communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver dedicated one-on-one speech therapy focusing on language, voice, fluency, and swallowing rehabilitation. Engage with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members, to design cohesive care strategies. Educate patients and their families to nurture continuity of progress in between therapy sessions. Contribute to inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when necessary, ensuring seamless care throughout the entire therapeutic journey. Maintain precise and prompt documentation that meets state, federal, and organizational standards. Commit to ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities and collaboration with peers. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications
State licensure required for practicing as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred candidates will hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of joining. Skills
