Pay Information $2,161 per week About The Position Job Title: Neuro Critical Care Unit Travel Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night rotation Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years Neuro ICU experience required License: Must hold a valid compact or state license Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA Certifications only) required Must-Have: IV Start Telemetry Ventilators Intracranial Pressure Monitoring Description: Position available in a Neuro Critical Care Unit. Shift involves day/night rotation with every other weekend coverage. Schedule consists of 3x12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. On-call duties are required. Patient ratio is approximately 1:1-2. Floating to other units of equivalent or lower acuity is required. Experience in trauma care and patient management for neurological conditions is essential. The patient population includes individuals with strokes, seizures, and post-operative neurosurgery patients. Familiarity with bedside procedures like central line placements and monitoring invasive devices is preferred. Candidates must have skills in managing ventilated patients and interpreting dysrhythmias. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are necessary. All candidates should be prepared for strict compliance with credentialing processes. Two professional references are required. Experience in an acute care setting is beneficial.
