Pay Information $1,744 per week About The Position Job Title: RN - Emergency Room Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: Contract RN position in the Emergency Room. This assignment is for 13 weeks, with a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. On-call is not required for this position. Candidates willing to work a mid-shift will also be considered. The unit has 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast Track beds, and 5 behavioral health beds. There are a total of 111 staff members in the unit. The patient ratios are 1:4 in the ED, 1:5 in behavioral health, and 1:3 for cardiac/trauma cases. The facility is equipped with Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers. Experience with Meditech is preferred. Trauma experience and holding inpatient experience are also preferred. The role may involve performing procedures such as splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, and resuscitation. A multitasker, team player, and self-starter will be the best fit for this position. Candidates are expected to adhere to all established policies and guidelines.
