Pay Information $2,122 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP Must-Have: Experience with all aspects of LDRP patient care. Ability to circulate c-sections. Experience with newborn care, including heel sticks and 24-hour testing. Knowledge of NAS scoring and lactation support. Skills to provide support within the department. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in Labor & Delivery/Postpartum. The facility has 174 licensed beds and is a teaching hospital without trauma designation. The unit cares for LDRP and GYN surgical patients. Patient Ratios follow AWHONN guidelines for RN and CNA. A CNA is available for each shift. Floating to other facilities may be required within the region and scope of practice. Weekend rotations will occur every other week. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. Approval for up to 6 days off may be granted, excluding holidays. The schedule cycle is every 6 weeks. Scrub color is navy blue or business casual to and from work. Hospital-issued scrubs are provided while working.
