Pay Information $2,002 per week About The Position Job Title: MedSurg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of experience required, travel experience required License: Compact or state license in hand, no exceptions Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required via American Heart Association Must-Have: - Must be EPIC proficient - IV Start experience - Telemetry Interpretation skills - Experience with neurology/stroke patients in the past Description: Join our team in a beautiful area known for its outdoor activities and waterways. The MedSurg Tele RN will provide care in a fast-paced environment. Patient ratios are 1:7. Candidates must be aware that float on weekends, holidays, and during the week is required. This position requires flexibility with scheduling options of 3x12 or 4x12 shifts. Candidates must include all relevant time-off requests with their application. No license or background hits will be accepted. It is essential that the candidate has experience working with neurology/stroke patients in an acute care setting. Skills required include: - Accessing Ports - Blood Product Administration - Central line blood draw - Chest tube management - Colostomy care - CPAP/BiPAP - Telemetry monitoring - Wound Care/Wound Vac experience A strong understanding of dysrhythmias and isolation precautions is necessary for this role.
