Travel RN Critical Care Float Pool | Albany, NY

Start Date: 9/2/2025
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend, rotating holidays

Position Overview:
Join the Critical Care Float Pool at a leading academic medical center. This role requires RNs who are highly adaptable and comfortable floating between multiple ICU settings. Nurses with prior Level I Trauma Center experience thrive in this environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for critically ill patients across multiple ICU specialties

• Support Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and PCCU

• Care for ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standard of patient care

Requirements:

• Current RN license (NY or compact eligible)

• Minimum 2+ years of critical care experience Required

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center Highly Preferred

• Strong competency in floating between a variety of ICUs Required

• EPIC EMR experience Required

• BLS & ACLS Required
