Travel RN Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU) | Albany, NY

Start Date: 9/22/2025
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: Every other weekend, rotating holidays

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Progressive Critical Care RN for a 13-week travel contract in Albany, NY. The PCCU team cares for some of the regions most medically delicate and surgically complex patients.

Patient Population / Top DRGs:

• Respiratory failure

• Sepsis

• Closed head injuries

• Multi-system organ dysfunction

• Endocrine disorders

• Complex traumas

• Surgical complications

Responsibilities & Skills:

• Competent in care of diverse medical & surgical populations

• Management of advanced hemodynamics including pressor titrations

• Proficient in use of antihypertensive drips, sedative & narcan drips, thrombolytics

• Experience with A-line, CVP, EVD, ortho traction, infection prevention protocols

• Skilled with HFNC, BiPap/CPAP, and oxypendent oxygen therapy

• Comfortable managing a typical caseload of 3 high-acuity patients

Requirements:

• Epic EMR experience Required

• ACLS & BLS Required

• 2+ years large-scale adult PCU or community hospital ICU experience Preferred
