As the Legal Executive Assistant – Corporate (LEA), you will support multiple corporate lawyers by managing the daily functions of their practice, enabling them to focus on their core work. You will serve as an executive-level assistant, facilitating communication, managing schedules, preparing legal documents, and supporting project management and billing activities. You will collaborate with Legal Administrative Assistants and Legal Support Assistants, providing mentorship and ensuring efficient operations. Responsibilities include: Supporting attorney projects, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with teams. Acting as liaison between attorneys, clients, and internal departments. Developing professional relationships and providing feedback on projects. Delegating tasks to support staff and monitoring progress. Drafting, proofreading, and finalizing legal documents and correspondence. Managing electronic and paper filing systems. Conducting research and preparing materials for case and practice group needs. Overseeing meeting logistics and preparing agendas and materials. Handling billing processes and liaising with the billing department. Managing attorney’s calendar, travel, and expenses. Desired Skills:
Effective communication, initiative, adaptability, discretion, proficiency with legal and firm software, excellent time management, and the ability to work under pressure. Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field. Experience:
At least 5 years in an administrative role supporting upper-level legal or corporate professionals. Essential Expectations:
Effective communication, timely deliverables, professionalism, compliance with policies, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical Demands:
Sedentary work involving sitting and computer use. Work Environment:
