Our client, a Chicago-based plaintiff’s litigation firm with a focus on civil rights and police misconduct, has an immediate need for a litigator (10+ yrs) to join its premier practice as a senior associate, counsel, or partner (depending on experience). The attorneys at this firm handle a variety of litigation matters, including employment, product liability, civil rights, aviation, and class actions. This firm was recently recognized by the Chicago Lawyer Magazine for the tens of millions of dollars in settlements it recovered for its clients in 2024. Highlights: · Busy plaintiffs’ litigation practice with over 50 years of combined experience · Firm has successfully litigated many multi-million dollar cases for clients · Opportunity to gain hands-on litigation experience Responsibilities: · Represent clients in police misconduct matters · Draft motions, pleadings, and briefs · Take and defend depositions · Argue motions and appear in court Required Qualifications: · 10 or more years of significant civil rights litigation experience, particularly in the area of police misconduct/brutality cases · Trial experience is a plus but not required Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150k+.
