Senior Systems Engineer - Network . This role supports a Navy customer in Dahlgren, VA. Job Description and Responsibilities:
A Systems Engineer, also known as a lead systems analyst, network engineer, or software engineer with network management skills, oversees the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. These products are often sophisticated systems that run on the web. The systems engineer is responsible for integrating various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices. Typical duties include managing the development cycle of resilient software, hardware, and web applications, including specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. Basic Requirements:
7 years of professional experience in systems engineering, with at least 6 years in design and implementation within LAN/WAN corporate environments using Cisco, Juniper, TCP/IP, and VoIP technologies, including routers, switches, fiber optics, firewalls, and cable plant designs. Clearance:
Top Secret (US citizenship required) Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline. Certifications:
