Director Cath Lab - RN

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Cath Lab to lead our cardiovascular services team. The Director will oversee the daily operations of the Catheterization Lab, ensuring high-quality care, effective management, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires a strong leader with a clinical background in cardiovascular services and progressive management experience. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the operational management of the Cath Lab, including staffing, budgeting, and workflow optimization. Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in line with the latest clinical guidelines. Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other departments to improve patient outcomes and department efficiency. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Cath Lab, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the department, making improvements where necessary to meet clinical and operational goals. Ensure staff are trained and equipped to provide care appropriate to the age and medical needs of patients in the Cath Lab. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Master’s Degree required. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience. Minimum of two (2) years of progressive management experience. License/Certification: Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification. Other Requirements: Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the age of patients served in the Cath Lab.
