are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Project Engineer (In Training) who will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing a variety of capital improvement projects related to paving & drainage, water line, sanitary line, traffic control plans, and site development. This position requires a hands-on approach to project management and design tasks to ensure successful project completion within specified timelines. The Engineering and Design Specialist will be responsible for preparing estimates, monitoring work for compliance with codes and standards, obtaining plan approvals and permits, and coordinating with various stakeholders such as EITS, drafters, subconsultants, and regulatory entities. Additionally, this role involves actively participating in meetings, providing technical expertise, and taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support project objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong engineering and design skills, project management experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects. Kuo & Associates Key Responsibilities: Perform Engineering and design functions as necessary to meet project schedule Hands on work on Capital Improvement projects on paving & drainage, Water Line, Sanitary Line, Traffic Control Plan, etc. Hands on work on site development/projects Prepare estimates Monitor work for compliance with applicable codes, standards, engineering practices, criteria, etc. Proactively work with entities to obtain plan approval & permit Assist in managing project by coordinating with EITS, Drafters, Subconsultants, entities, etc. Attend meetings Perform additional responsibilities as appropriate Skills and Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience E. is preferred Proficiency in Civil 3D (AutoCAD) is expected Proficient in MS office, Power Point, Microsoft Project, etc. Experience in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS Reasonable verbal & written communication Familiarity with regional design codes, standards are desirable Able to work independently within Team Environment Learn more or follow all our firms below!
