About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Private Equity Fund Accounting to take on a pivotal role in fund reporting and investor communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing quarterly reporting, capital activity, and both in-house and outsourced fund processes. This includes collaborating with auditors, fund administrators, and internal stakeholders, as well as driving process improvements. The role demands a strategic and detail-oriented leader with excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage deadlines and teams in a high-volume environment. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Private Equity Fund Accounting at the company include fund reporting oversight, capital activity and investor reporting management, cash and treasury management, audit and vendor management, cross-functional leadership, and development and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 12-15 years' experience in public accounting and private equity fund accounting. Technical skills should include proficiency in Investran and InvestorVision, with advanced Excel capabilities. A strong knowledge of private equity structures, fund lifecycle events, and investor reporting standards, including ILPA, is essential. The role is suited to a candidate with a background in both in-house and outsourced fund structures, who can mentor staff and drive reporting automation.
