A top-tier law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3–6 years of experience to join its renowned Life Sciences Partnering & Licensing practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on strategic transactions for leading and emerging life sciences companies. Ideal candidates will possess strong experience in commercial agreements, including licensing and collaboration deals, and demonstrate a keen interest in supporting innovative work in biotech, medtech, and digital health. Location
Duties
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial agreements, including: Licensing agreements Collaboration and co-development agreements Manufacturing, distribution, and other strategic transactions Advise clients in the life sciences sector on transactional strategy and regulatory considerations Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including IP, regulatory, and corporate attorneys Support clients from early-stage biotech to large pharmaceutical companies Remain current on legal and market developments in life sciences and technology transactions Requirements
3–6 years of legal experience focused on life sciences transactional work Prior experience at a law firm or in-house legal department within the life sciences industry Familiarity with licensing, joint ventures, and commercial transactions Corporate or patent experience and/or a technical background is a plus Ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet deadlines Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Certifications
Active member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar Willingness to become licensed in the state of office location, if not already admitted Skills
