Qualifications: High school diploma/GED. Two (2) years of related technical surveying experience. National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) Level I Survey Technician Certification or obtain within one (1) year of hire or promotion. Must possess a valid state driver's license and obtain a valid Florida driver's license within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion. Key Responsibilities: Assists in surveying and mapping activities for the City of Cape Coral. Assists and supports the Survey Division with reports, inventories, memos, and tasks as required. Physically searches for existing survey monuments, markers and other control points. Sets grade stakes for new construction. Perform other related duties as required.
