The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Development to play a pivotal role in designing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development program in alignment with the organization's 2030 vision, growing and stewarding partnerships with various donor types, and leading a small team to ensure the achievement of ambitious fundraising goals. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in development, the ability to build and maintain high-level relationships, and a deep commitment to the mission of the organization. The MDD will be expected to be a key architect of the fundraising strategy, serve as the lead fundraiser, and work closely with the CEO, Board of Trustees, and senior leadership to secure transformational support.

Applicants for the Managing Director of Development position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree and have at least 7 years' of experience in fundraising, preferably within education or youth-focused organizations. The role requires a candidate with a strong sales orientation, a drive for results, and the ability to engage in high-level funder stewardship. The ideal candidate will be a master of persuasive communication, both written and oral, and will have a proven ability to translate the organization's mission and vision into compelling messages for various audiences.
