Municipal Law Attorney - Affordable Housing & Procurement Specialist

We are actively recruiting a highly qualified and experienced Municipal Law Attorney to expand our dynamic team in Roseland, NJ. This prestigious role encompasses a significant focus on public sector law, specifically handling matters related to public contracting, procurement, and affordable housing. Salary:

$150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Draft and review legal documents including resolutions, ordinances, contracts, and agreements. Provide legal opinions and advice to public bodies concerning municipal, employment, and labor matters. Attend and participate in public meetings and hearings, offering legal counsel on varied municipal issues. Lead and manage significant cases and legal matters within the public sector. Act as a pivotal resource in all legal proceedings related to public sector law, ensuring compliance and governance. Develop strategies to effectively handle complex legal cases in municipal government law. Collaborate with other legal experts within the firm to ensure a holistic approach to client needs and legal requirements. Minimum Position Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney with a focus on municipal government law. Licensed to practice law in New Jersey. Proven track record in public contracting, procurement, and affordable housing legal matters. Exceptional legal drafting and research skills. Capability to manage multiple projects and oversee significant legal initiatives. Strong analytical skills and the ability to offer practical solutions in a timely manner. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a partner in a law firm with a strong emphasis on municipal law. Extensive knowledge and understanding of New Jersey state laws and regulations affecting municipalities. Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior attorneys and staff. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact with high-profile public sector clients. A strong ethical foundation with a commitment to client confidentiality. Skills:

High-level negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Advanced abilities in legal research and the use of legal research software. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
