What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Lead the health practice team to achieve strategic growth and market distinction - Serve as a strategic partner to clients, directing high-impact programs to meet their business goals - Build and nurture long-term client relationships while generating organic revenue - Identify and lead new business pitches to acquire new clients and meet growth objectives - Oversee team staffing and resources to ensure high-quality work for clients
What is Required (Qualifications): - Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, ideally in both agency and in-house settings - Extensive experience leading strategic communication strategies in healthcare, medtech, pharma, and life sciences - Strong experience in pharma, biotech, and/or life sciences preferred - Proven track record of delivering creative communications campaigns within regulated markets - Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience with integrated programs spanning digital, editorial, and media relations - Demonstrated experience leading new business efforts, including targeted outreach and proposal development - Innovative thinker with a history of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans - Significant experience providing communications counsel to executives and senior marketers - Business acumen in budgeting, billing, and staffing
