What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Lead the health practice and team to achieve strategic growth and distinction in the market - Serve as a strategic partner to clients, directing high-impact programs to meet their business goals - Build and nurture long-term client relationships while growing business through leadership and strategic guidance - Identify and lead new business pitches to attract new clients and meet growth targets - Oversee team staffing and resourcing to ensure high-quality work for clients
What is Required (Qualifications): - Minimum 10 years of experience in communications, ideally in both agency and in-house settings - Extensive experience leading strategic communication strategies within healthcare, medtech, health systems, pharma, and/or life sciences fields - Strong experience in pharma, biotech, and/or life sciences - Demonstrated experience in new business development, including outreach and proposal development - Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Track record of delivering standout creative communications campaigns within regulated markets - Experience setting up measurement programs to measure the ongoing ROI of communications activities - Innovative thinker with experience using data and insights to craft strategic campaigns - Significant experience providing communications counsel to executives and senior marketers - Experience in building, managing, mentoring, and coaching communications managers and specialists
