Position Summary: This position is responsible for the daily financial and accounting activities of the plant. Duties and Responsibilities: Month-end closing, including journal entries and account reconciliations Analyze and provide detail of P&L variances Maintain and review inventory transactions and balances Maintain and review capital expenditures and fixed assets Assist in development of budgets, forecasts and performance reports (KPI/CPU) Support internal and external audit requirements Work with plant staff to assist them in understanding financial requirements, policy compliance, and operating results Prepare special studies and presentations as required Employees are expected to work onsite to attend in person meetings and collaborate as necessary Other duties as assigned Perform annual standard cost update in alignment with budget Coordinate AP & AR activities with Shared Services Team Review, approve, and analyze non-production (MRO) spending in compliance with budget/forecast. Decisions Making Scope/Supervisory Responsibility: No formal responsibility for supervising others. Safety, Health, and Environmental: Follow the Safety, Health, and Environmental Program as reflected in the SHE Policy Statement Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and the Quality Policy Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferred - major in Accounting or Finance preferred 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing business Automotive industry experience a plus Strong cost accounting experience preferred Skills, Knowledge and Competencies: Knowledge of OneStream and XA/Mapics accounting systems a plus Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others Demonstrated high level of analytical ability where problems are complex Demonstrated high level of oral and written communication skills Strong self-starting initiative and innovative attitude Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job: The employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is required to type using a computer. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Position occasionally works in plant conditions with frequent exposure (20%-50%) to noise, odors, dust, drafts, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc. Seniority level:
