This position sits within our Oklahoma City, based corporate office, currently with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.
RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and file sales tax returns with the United States and Canada jurisdictions Manage sales tax exemption certificate process. Research the taxability of transactions Prepare and file local jurisdictions' income tax returns/business privilege tax returns Prepare and file payroll and unemployment tax returns Analyze tax return payments to determine cause for outages and make recommendations to the Tax Director for corrections Respond to notices/letters from tax authorities Maintain tax calendar Assist Supervisor as needed EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES
Proficient in Microsoft Office Intermediate knowledge of Excel required Experience working with AS400, and Oracle/JDEdwards is preferred Excellent written and verbal communications skills Strong organizational skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize filing returns
