Job Summary :
The Resident Services Coordinator provides support to a diverse group of residents, mainly families, single adults and seniors - at 2 family properties in the Tenderloin and Western Addition neighborhoods. The position requires a motivated and resourceful person, who shows sensitivity to helping address the needs of a diverse, ethnic, and low income population; has excellent service coordination, team-building and community organizing skills; and thrives in a relatively independent work environment in a team setting with other providers. This is a floater position where the person provides services at two sites.
Status: Full-time, Nonexempt
Location: San Francisco
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, plus some nights and weekends
Salary: $30.26 - $31.85 per hour; Comprehensive benefits

Essential Functions:
Offer on-going supportive services to residents including case management, informationand referral, housing stability assistance, leading coordination withProperty Management and other third party providers
Collaborate with onsite staff, other CCDC departments, and city funders
Organize, set-up, implement, and evaluate activities including larger communityevents focusing on cross-cultural community building
Create and implement programming at the property with a focus on aging-in[1]place, health & wellness, and educational workshops
Build, maintain, and monitor relationships with social service agencies to bringadditional programming to the property
Provide technical assistance, staffing support and translation services to allresident groups
Support residents facing housing stability issues including applying for rentalassistance.
Lead other resident services teams projects that come up throughout the yearsuch as an Inter-Property field trip, food programs (Meals on Wheels, food boxprogram, food drives, food pantries, etc.), and greening activities
Filed resident questions on operational protocols and procedures and issuesincluding Property Management policies and procedures, rent, work orders,payment plans, reasonable accommodations, critical incidents and generalcoordination of Property Mangement meetings and communication.
Order and physically shop for and purchase program supplies
Triage with multiple CCDC departments to support residents involved inrelocation
Gather, track and provide information for city mandated reporting

Develop on-going cooperative network of government and social service agencies Serve as an advocate and liaison for residents with service agencies and/orproperty management Work in partnership with residents on their rights and responsibilities as tenants Work on site relocation projects, supporting residents to ensure continuum ofcare- Triage with multiple CCDC departments to support residents involved inrelocation Resident Community Building Plan, develop, coordinate, and lead on-site and off-site educational, social, andrecreational activities that may include, but are not limited to, the following:health and aging, safety, and nutrition workshops; holiday celebrations; outings;voter education; disaster preparedness workshops; and fire drills Provide mediation between residents when neededto support resident leadership and empowerment through resident volunteerism orexisting resident groups Work with property staff and residents to develop and implement activities andsystems that promote safety and security Educate and/or link residents to community/neighborhood projects that impacttheir quality of life Collaborate with Community Organizing and Planning on neighborhood issuesthat affect our residents; mobilize resident leaders to promote civic activism andadvocacy around these community issues Support resident leadership and empowerment by providing technical assistanceto Resident Council, if applicable, and work with residents to recruit and sustainvolunteers for programs Administrative Support Maintain resident files on all services provided, including intakes, needsassessments, service plans, referrals, and outcomes Complete/maintain service reports, grant reports, activities budgets, programfiles, and other paperwork Provide information for and/or assist with writing grant applications Conduct resident surveys to measure programs Create monthly calendar of events and activities, and produce outreach flyers andquarterly newsletters Assist in recruiting and supervising volunteers Assist Resident Services team and at organization events Attend meetings and trainings Other Embody organization values (respect & compassion, empowerment, teamwork) Contribute to a safe and pleasant work environment Follow policies, procedures, and safe work practices Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

: Academic qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field and two (2) years experience in providing direct services in the form of information,referrals, and/or linkages to community and public resources to low[1]income populations and one (1) year of experience in developing,organizing, and implementing group activities, or High school diploma or GED and a combination of five (5) years ofexperience in providing direct services in the form of information,referrals, and/or linkages to community and public resources to low[1]income populations as well as experience in developing, organizing, andimplementing group activities
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations Knowledge of, and sensitivity to, the needs of low-income people Preferred Qualifications
