Sr. Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Manage and resolve all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity - Handle liability injury claims, including coverage, liability, and damage concerns - Assist in taking first notice of loss calls and participate in the department phone queue - Conduct investigative work and make coverage and liability determinations - Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively and communicate case facts to management
What is Required (Qualifications): - 4-5 years of claims experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in casualty adjuster experience - High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years' experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry - Must hold an Adjuster's license for applicable states or obtain required licenses within 90 days of employment - Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Willingness to travel as needed for role, including divisional/team meetings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - 5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience - Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience - Commercial claims handling experience - Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus - Active participation in employee resource groups or community service
